This weekend I had the opportunity to attend the Chicago World of Wheels custom auto and motorcycle show. The show comes to Chicago every year but I’ve always skipped it for the larger Chicago Auto Show. I have to admit that I have been doing myself an injustice as this show was wonderful!
It is “funny” how many of the really cool Chicago floor shows occur during the winter. Two years ago when I attended the Yacht and Boat Show we had a blizzard that day which yielded 8-10 inches of snow. This weekend the World of Wheels enjoyed 4-10 degree F weather (that’s -20 below F with the wind chill factor) but the crowd was still robust.
Due to the inclimate weather several manufactures and custom houses from the West Coast did not attend. But, for the vendors who did come their works of art were simply unbelievable.
